On Tuesday, April 21, 2020 BEACON at Salisbury University and the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce presented “Getting Ahead of the Wave” Part 3 – Exploring Post-Pandemic Scenarios for Economic Growth and Employment.

Dr. Memo Diriker of Beacon at Salisbury University and colleagues Dr. Dustin Chambers and Dr. Brian Hill discussed scenarios for each of the major economic activity sectors on the Eastern Shore/Delmarva Peninsula.

Dr. Dustin Chambers is a Professor of Economics in the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University, a BEACON Scholar in Résidence, a Senior Affiliated Scholar for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and a Policy Advisor at the Heartland Institute. Dr. Chambers is an applied econometrician who has published widely on the topics of income inequality, poverty, and economic growth.
